How-To: Enable Support for Playing DVDs in Debian Lenny

First, edit your /etc/apt/sources.list file as root and add this line:

deb http://debian-multimedia.org/ lenny main

Next, update your package list:

apt-get update

And install libdvdcss2:

apt-get install libdvdcss2

You're done now. Two good video players I recommend are VLC and Kaffeine. To install them, type:

apt-get install vlc kaffeine
